Setup, in the order that works.
How to get from an empty workspace to a measured journey, and what to connect at each step.
The fastest path is narrow: one journey, the expensive one, mapped properly, with measurement configured before you change anything. Breadth comes later and comes cheaply once the first journey is right.
- 01
Create the workspace
Choose the data region — it is fixed for the tenancy once set. Invite the two or three people who will actually maintain the journey rather than everyone who wants to watch.
- 02
Start from a template
Pick the sector template closest to your journey and edit it down. Starting from a template and deleting is consistently faster than starting from an empty canvas.
- 03
Connect one signal source
One export is enough: survey responses or support tickets. Themes cluster and attach to stages immediately, which is usually where the first surprise appears.
- 04
Configure the index
Set the weighting and accept reduced coverage where an input is missing. Do this before any intervention, so movement is measurable against a real baseline.
- 05
Run the diagnosis
Review flagged friction and the proposed interventions. Reject freely and record why — rejections train the scoring as much as acceptances do.
- 06
Deploy and measure
Push the accepted intervention to your tracker, mark the deployment date, and let the attribution window do the measurement.
What each move produces
One journey, done properly.
Measurement before change.
Template then delete.
Record rejections, not just acceptances.
Questions we get asked
An afternoon to a mapped journey with flagged friction. Full ingestion and benchmark comparison usually takes 2 weeks with the onboarding team.
