Diagnose, design, intervene, measure.
The method René encodes came out of consulting practice inside banks, ministries, developers and airlines. Four moves, run in order, repeatedly.
Most experience programmes fail in the same place: the gap between a diagnosis everyone agrees with and a change anyone can measure. The method exists to close that gap, and the product exists so the method does not depend on the consultant who ran it.
- 01
Diagnose
Evidence before opinion. Every signal source — survey, ticket, review, interview, observation — collected into one place and clustered by theme rather than by tool. The output is not a summary. It is a set of themes with volume, emotion and the stage each one belongs to.
- 02
Design
The journey modelled as data: stages, touchpoints, actors, systems, effort and emotion. Modelled once and read four ways, because the blueprint a delivery team needs and the curve a board needs are the same journey asked different questions.
- 03
Intervene
Behavioural science applied to the specific break rather than to the category. Name the bias, design the change, score the confidence and the expected effect, then hand it to delivery with the evidence attached. A proposal nobody can trace is a proposal nobody will fund.
- 04
Measure
One composed index per journey, weighted the same way each period, with movement scoped to the window in which an intervention was deployed. Measurement designed before the change ships, not reconstructed afterwards.
What each move produces
Evidence outranks seniority.
A map that is not current is not a map.
Name the bias or you are guessing.
If you cannot attribute the movement, you cannot claim it.
Questions we get asked
The frameworks come from Renascence practice and are published here. What is proprietary is the encoding — the templates, the bias library and the scoring that make it runnable without a consultant.
