This month's work centred on a full admin console redesign, a more reliable generation engine with budget-aware retries, and journey-specific ritual and phase suggestions replacing generic ones.
Admin console6 changes
- —Rebuilt the admin layout and overview pages to match the René Admin design spec, with a new dark design system applied across all pages.
- —Replaced ad-hoc tabs, search inputs and status badges with shared AdminSearchInput, AdminBadge and other common components for consistency.
- —Redesigned the credits, invoice settings and organizations pages with new components, table styles and layout fixes.
- —Fixed JSX parse errors across admin pages and added consistent spacing wrappers.
- —Expanded admin access to super_admin and specific accounts, and updated nav permission mappings.
- —Renamed CX Journey Studio to René Studio throughout layout metadata and manifest.
Generation engine7 changes
- —Made the engine's retry logic budget-aware, reclaiming stale jobs and catching transient AI Gateway timeout and gateway-blip errors instead of failing feed jobs outright.
- —Fixed feed jobs returning zero rows due to a row-level-security issue on the engine_feed_jobs table.
- —Switched the discover route from a dead direct Gemini REST call over to the AI Gateway.
- —Improved engine stats accuracy and category breakdown reporting, and corrected feed job counts and alert messaging.
- —Added a shape-donor fallback so thin categories such as public transport and railways still get usable content.
- —Made the generation dock show clearer progress: real active job counts, current engine phase, and reduced inter-poll creep.
- —Added a concurrency guard and text truncation for feed jobs, and cleaned up job reset logic to only target failed or empty jobs.
Rituals, behavioural and journey generation6 changes
- —Rituals, Behavioral and Voice tabs now load journey-specific suggestions directly instead of flashing generic placeholder cards first, removing the jarring switch users saw before.
- —Replaced full-page skeletons and spinners on all three canvas tabs with anatomy-matched skeleton cards that better reflect the content being loaded.
- —Added the ability to enter custom ritual topics before generating, backed by journey-specific topic fetching and a new ritual topic suggestion and generation flow.
- —Added a dialog for generating new journey phases, with dynamic topic suggestions and refresh logic tied to journey context.
- —Added AI-assisted journey generation for cases where confidence is low, with improved JSON parsing and error handling for generation results.
- —Added chime notifications when generation jobs complete successfully.
Journey canvas and scoring6 changes
- —Fixed canvas height, layout and scroll issues, and trimmed touchpoint description whitespace.
- —Added export functionality to the journey layout, with a streamlined export dialog and EXIS scoring helpers in the canvas toolbar.
- —Enhanced the emotional arc component with new icons, a sparkline summary, and aligned emotional arc display across the review flow.
- —Standardised score classification across UI components and the journey builder, and added a dot-meter score display to the Archetypes page.
- —Reworked journey and template cards into a masonry layout, with marker dots, tooltips for stage names, and standardised component heights.
- —Improved the roadmap approval workflow and review panel, including stage group headers, icons, and clearer wording.
Next best action and support tools4 changes

Accounts and collaboration4 changes
- —Integrated two-factor authentication into settings and login pages.
- —Standardised external collaborator roles and streamlined the invite logic, including an external invite gate on action execution.
- —Ensured journey creators are correctly recorded as accepted journey_master in the UI-read table, with a backfill of collaborator access policies.
- —Fixed login and signup pages to read query parameters after mount, with safer redirect handling.
