AskNicely has launched a new connector that pipes live customer feedback data directly into Claude, the AI assistant built by Anthropic. The integration lets teams query and analyze real-time customer sentiment and survey responses from within Claude, rather than switching between a separate feedback platform and their AI tools.

The move positions AskNicely, a customer experience and feedback management vendor, as one of the platforms making its data accessible to general-purpose AI assistants through native connectors. Rather than exporting reports or building custom dashboards, users can reportedly ask Claude questions about ongoing customer feedback and get responses grounded in current data.

Why it matters

This is fundamentally a story about how AI assistants are becoming the interface through which businesses access and act on operational data. By connecting live feedback streams to Claude, AskNicely is betting that the next generation of CX analysis won't happen in a standalone dashboard — it will happen conversationally, inside whatever AI tool an employee already has open.

For experience and transformation leaders, the significance lies less in the specific vendor and more in the pattern: feedback platforms, CRMs and support tools are increasingly racing to plug into large language model ecosystems so that frontline and leadership teams can query customer signals in natural language instead of waiting for analysts to build reports. That shortens the distance between a customer's complaint or compliment and an organizational response.

The René take

Making feedback queryable inside an AI assistant is a genuine convenience win, but convenience is not the same as insight — and it's worth being honest about the difference.

Piping live feedback into a chat interface removes friction, but friction was never the real reason most organizations sat on customer data without acting. The bottleneck was ownership and accountability — nobody was clearly on the hook to close the loop. A connector that makes it easier to ask Claude "what are customers unhappy about this week" is only valuable if someone is still assigned to fix what it surfaces. Operators should treat this as an accelerant for existing feedback discipline, not a substitute for having one.
